Our 2025 was a year of wonder and joy. We’re thankful for God’s mercy to preserve and sustain us in every season.

A 2025 year in review –

1st QUARTER:

Started the year in Japan and Korea with Bennett, lots of family time, and hit one year in our new home.

A frame from our family session with Elisenda, at one of our favorite places to go in the East Bay

Almost exactly a year ago, Bennett was in Japan in Meiwen’s belly. Here he is again, but on Lennys!

A year in this home, which means a year of tracking where the light hits every month

SECOND QUARTER:

These months were emotional and packed to the brim – Bennett’s first birthday, anniversary trip to Vancouver, and a grandparents trip to beautiful Washington. Soooo so thankful for our family and friends x100

Bennett’s train obsession was in full swing by Spring

Lenny and Meiwen celebrated 8 years of marriage in May!

THIRD QUARTER:

Home life felt especially precious during these months, and everything is right in the world when there’s still sunlight at 8pm. Long walks! Zoo membership! Summer produce! Backyard dinners!

Meiwen once again spent all summer gardening, which was more expensive than buying groceries but cheaper than therapy. Our first napa cabbage harvest above!

Also the summer of back to back to back weddings

Reluctant besties in the making ????

FOURTH QUARTER

We ended the year with another smattering of travel – a few SoCal trips, New York for Meiwen, and an unexpected but very very special trip to Singapore with Lenny’s family.

Lenny and Bennett at a hawker center munching on kaya toast. In 5 minutes from this photo we’ll be eating the best Hainan chicken rice of the whole trip

Lenny gave Bennett his first haircut !! This was 10/10 emotional and I’m not embarrassed to admit that we did indeed squirrel away a lock of his hair

This is Lenny at a water park exactly 4 hours after he got a perm in Singapore. Its like he’s never even watched Legally Blonde??

Except the days are passed in Thy presence/ in Thy service to Thy glory.
May Thy fear be my awe / Thy triumphs my joy.”

Happy holidays ♡
